Icelandic Sites and Lights NOV 2026

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Sun Nov 1, 2026
Take off from Newark (pm flight)

Day 2 – Mon Nov 2nd
Land and take a very short stroll on some sponge moss, peer into a cave and swim in the famous Blue Lagoon!. Stroll behind Seljalands waterfall and id jaunt up the to the hidden Gljufurar Water Fall. Tonight we will stay at the base of the Stoga Waterfall.
Overnight : Hotel Skogafoss or similar

Day 3 – Tuesday Nov 3rd
See the iconic Reynisfjara “Black” Beach, Dyrholaey light house (weather permitting), Vik, Myrdalsjokul Glacier Stroll and much more. Spend the evening hunting the Aurora in rural south east Iceland.
Overnight: Foss Hotel Nupar or similar

Day 4 – Wednesday nov 4th
Today we adventure onto Skaftafell national park, Vatna Glacier, Svarti waterfall Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon.
Spend the evening hunting the Aurora in rural south east Iceland.
Overnight: Foss Hotel Nupar or similar

Day 5 – Thursday Nov 5th
The Golden Circle supplies the route for today. Visit the original Geysir, Gullfoss Water Fall, Thingvellir National Park.
Tonight search for the Aurora Borealis on the western side of Iceland.
* If available tonight we stay on an active farm where you can play with the animals, enjoy their award winning restaurant and imbibe the local craft beer before we hit the hot tub to enjoy the Northern Lights..

Day 6 – Friday Nov 6 th
Tonight search for the Aurora Borealis on the western side of Iceland. Doing our day tour see Stykkisholmur, Western fjord (weather permitting), Kirkjufellsfoss, Black Church, Grabrok Crater Gerðuberg Cliffs,.
* If available tonight we stay on an active farm where you can play
with the animals, enjoy their award winning restaurant and imbibe the local craft beer before we hit the hot tub to enjoy the Northern Lights..

Day 7 – sat novemeber 7th
Next take a tour of Hallsgrimskirkja Cathedral and all the major sites of Reykjavik including Tjornim Park, the Harbor, The Harpa concert hall and a trip to the hill top Perlan restaurant. We will be stopping for lunch at Baejarin’s Betzu Pylsur, A world famous hotdog stand. Explore Laugavegur street with its many shops,supermarket and the state liquor store.
After dinner join your tour guide to chase the Aurora Borealis (weather permitting) or explore the Reykjavik night life.
Over night: Hotel Leifur Eiriksson or similar

Day 8 -Sunday Nov 8th
Next we stop at the Viking World Museum whose main attraction is a magnificent viking ship which sailed to New York in the year 2000 to commemorate Leifur Eiríksson’s journey to the New World a thousand years earlier. Also see grass roofed dwellings at the recreated settlement.
Flight home
